CELEBRITIES --- THEY'RE JUST LIKE US!

Here is a brief article about Zosia Mamet, of "Girls" fame. Zosia suffered through extreme urinary frequency, intense vaginal pain during sex, and "For six years, [felt like] I had the worst UTI of my life." Finally, she was diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction and got the help she needed. This quote in particular stands out:

"They told me I was crazy," the 29-year-old explained, adding that one physician told her, "You need to learn to self-soothe, missy."

So many clients relate the same thing to me. They're told by doctors, OBGYNs, and friends "You had a baby. What do you expect? Just deal with it!" It's incredibly frustrating because you DON'T have to just deal with it. There are ways to strengthen and rebuild your pelvic floor and do away with common post-partum symptoms like incontinence, back pain, mummy tummy, and more.
